Put the meat, onion, chopped onion, garlic, Star anise black pepper, cloves, cardamom, chopped ginger, salt, bay leaf and enough water in a pan and cook till the meat melts well.

Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the crushed garlic into the ginger.

Wash the rice and put it in the meat.
Add the remaining meat yakni to the rice and mix well.
Add enough water to the rice so that when the water is dry, the rice will be left in one bowl.
When one kani is left, turn down the heat and leave it for twenty minutes.
