Ingredients:
- Flour 750 grams
- Soda .. 4/1 teaspoon
- Cream of Tatar 4/1 teaspoon
- Yellow color of food. 4/1 teaspoon
- ghee Half a kilo
- sugar One to half a kilo
For the syrup:
- Water Half a kilo
- sugar One to half a kilo
- Pandanus A few drops
Method:
Mix sugar and pandanus in water and cook till a string is ready. Dissolve 500 grams of flour in water and make a thick mixture and keep it for two days. Mix the rest of the flour, soda, cream of tartar, and mix well. Add water if needed. Heat ghee in a frying pan, pour the mixture into a muslin cloth and make jalebiyan. When golden on both sides, add them to the syrup and serve hot after a few minutes.
